Solar Rebate and Loan

To claim the government solar rebate Victoria, you must apply through the official Solar Victoria portal before installation begins. 3P Solar will guide you through the application process, including uploading documentation, choosing approved products, and getting approval before system installation. Once approved, the rebate is paid directly to us and deducted from your invoice.

STC stands for Small-scale Technology Certificates, a federal government incentive under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme. STCs are generated when you install an eligible solar system and act as a rebate to reduce upfront costs. At 3P Solar, we manage the STC claim on your behalf—applying the value as an immediate discount to your system price.

Victorian households may be eligible for a solar loan. The loan is offered alongside the solar PV rebate and can be repaid over years. The application is submitted through the Solar Victoria portal, and we'll assist you every step of the way.

Currently, you can only receive one rebate per property under the Solar Homes Program. However, you can access a solar panel battery rebate if you have already installed a solar PV system that didn't receive a previous rebate, and you meet other eligibility criteria.

Once your application is submitted through the Solar Victoria portal, it typically takes 1–3 weeks for approval, depending on documentation accuracy and processing volume. We work with you to ensure your application is submitted correctly for a smooth approval process.
